Melqosh Mission International is a non - profit organisation that empowers and educates poverty stricken,  marginalised war afflicted female amputees and their dependants in Sierra Leone West Africa.  We at Melqosh Mission International ( MMI ) believe that everyone can and should exercise their right to a life of dignity.

MMI's vision is to implement development strategies for education,  wealth, trade and employment specifically for those that are physically handicapped and challenged as a result of War.  We believe that with access to these services the beneficiaries will have opportunities that we all deserve, and a coveted chance to be a productive and successful member of Sierra Leone.

As we are now all aware, Sierra Leone was victim to the devastating Ebola crisis in 2014/2015.  The first case was identified in May 2014,  since then thousands of civilians and health workers/officials lost their lives to the deadly Ebola disease. As a direct result thousands of children have been orphaned.

As MMI has worked with War Ophans in Sierra leone since 2008. It was fitting that we extended our charitable activities to include relief to Sierra Leone 's Ebola orphans. MMI's Ebola Agenda is to create a safe home for some of these Ophans.  Research has unearthed that many of the orphaned children are being abandoned by relatives as they are stereotyped as "CURSED" These ophaned children are vulnerable and many are currently living in the streets of Sierra Leone,  where stigmatisation, rejection and abuse is prevalent. MMI'S Ebola Agenda is to create safe homes for as many of these  Ebola Ophans as we can. We need your help.  For more information about our work please visit our website
